Luton
Wow, probably the worst place I've visited in the UK and I'm shocked it's in the south-east of England.

Also feel like I've visited my first Islamic country.

well, its on the list of *taps nose* ethnically diverse neighbourhoods that are leading the charge on passport scams

WELL THERES A FUCKING SURPRISE!!

Passport Office targeting 100 postcodes for fraud investigations
Staff given list of mainly ethnically diverse areas where child applications must face extra scrutiny

Many of the postcodes – which include more than 40 in London – are areas with a high proportion of ethnic minorities.
Officials are using the postal addresses of passport applicants to decide which areas to prioritise for fraud investigations and "additional checking", the Guardian has learned.

A hundred postcode districts have been identified by civil servants as places from which applications for travel documents for children should face extra scrutiny, leaked papers show.

The policy faced criticism from senior Labour MP Diane Abbott that it was potentially discriminatory. Many of the postcodes – which include more than 40 in London – are areas with a high proportion of ethnic minorities. Tory MP David Davis said the "deliberate postcode lottery" was unfair on innocent people in those areas who could face delays just because of where they live. The Passport Office has been struggling through the summer to get on top of a backlog of applications.

The postcodes selected for additional scrutiny represent just over 5% of all postcode districts in the country but include three out of four of the most ethnically diverse areas in the country: Luton, Leicester and Birmingham.

Other postcodes selected include ones in Manchester, Edinburgh and smaller cities such as Brighton and Bristol as well as towns including Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, Darlington and Walsall.

Clearly never been to Leicester...

I'd say Leicester is more Hindu and Sikh than Muslim.

Watford takes some beating. Went to the town centre and it was like I stumbled onto the set of the Jeremy Kyle Show.

I had to go to East Grinstead last month to pick up an ebay buy.

I'm sure all of East Grinstead is not the same but the estate I had to go to looked like all the houses and front gardens were lived in by Onslow.

I see your Luton and raise you the Medway towns. I went through there at the weekend. What a charmless f*cking cesspit, and inhabited by some of the lowest forms of life on Earth.

It's like they took the worst of South East London and mixed them with Pikeys, to spawn a genetically modified super-chav.

I studied in Luton 20 odd years ago for three years.

There was a jungle collective there at the time called Exodus.

Great parties & quality drugs.

Upton Park on a non-matchday ain't that bad at all. It's a bit smelly and spot-the-white-person but I lived round there msot of my life and I swear to god I never had any trouble, ever. Could walk round Green Street any time of day in complete peace.

I'd also say most of the Asians round there do work, but they work weird hours and spend their free time "on the street" as it were. They're from an outdoor culture where they spend their time out socialising and running errends, most of us white Brits spend our free time in the pub so we're less visible.

I'm gonna be in Luton tomorrow night for a while - meeting a female friend then going to Harpenden for a meal - I'll be the only person of colour where she lives - probably 'cos there's no council places there!!!

Once got lost in Luton. When I found a white face ( which was a policeman) I was told to drive out of the town and then i might find someone that speaks English.
